It’s that time of year folks. Sunshine, barbecues, swimming, and kids released from the captivity of academia for three months. With the arrival of summer, our attention naturally turns to our favorite summertime activities.
Mission Viejo is a world champion in this department. The city offers residents and visitors alike a million and one things to do during the season of sunshine. Here are some of the biggies:

- 4th of July Street Fair and Fireworks Spectacular (Sunday, July 4 1:00p) – Food, games and merchandise booths operated by local service organizations and crafters.
- Lake Mission Viejo – Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, fishing, boating, and a summer concert series just for starters.
- Summer Camps – Kids of all ages can thrill to a variety of camps and classes designed to tickle their fancy.
- Plus golfing at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club, picnics and play at wide selection of parks, and much, much more.
